It sounds like Hillary Clinton has had her fill of frontline politics (though even as I type those words I find them hard to credit). This is from an interview with CNN's marvellously-named Wolf Blitzer, this week:
Q- If the president is reelected, do you want to serve a second term as secretary of state?
No.
Q- Would you like to serve as secretary of defense?
No.
Q- Would you like to be vice president of the United States?
No.
Q- Would you like to be president of the United States?
No.
She has seemed very fed up over the last few months.
Perhaps she could do something together with William Hague and David Miliband...
