From a Politico report on the scotching of rumours that new Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan is a lesbian:
Another friend, former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, a member of Kagan’s social circle at Princeton University, wanted to make the same point as Walzer. “I did not go out with her, but other guys did,” he said in an email Tuesday night. “I don't think it is my place to say more.”
For some reason I find this very funny.
Sigh. and there was I last night, reading the LA Times thinking, how nice, a person has been nominated for an important position who isn't married, and for once no-one seems to be commenting on it.
Not sure if you caught 'tory boys' when it was on, but the whole premise annoyed me. Why is/was Ted heath's sexuality or marital status anyone's business? Maybe he just didn't get married because he had better things to do with his time.
