Never understand how this sort of thing works. Are people of influence supposed to go, "well, I was a complete sceptic on climate change but now some guy's done a publicity stunt in the ocean I've changed my mind"?
(was it Liam Callagher who said something similar about pop singers doing anti-poverty concerts?)

Most people don't understand how communications work. Which is why the unthinkingly get into their cars to fetch a paper from the corner shop.

As for the single most pressing issue of our species I'd say that the kind of clients that go to the Maldives will sit up more when they see come across this story. But then they are part of the problem and not the solution.
