Washington media pundits James Carville, Paul Begala, George Stephanopolous, and the man now at the centre of the new White House, Rahm Emanuel, are all veterans of the Clinton White House, and close friends. John Harris of Politico has written a funny piece about how the four still call each other every day to chew the fat. My favourite bit:
According to Begala, the expectation of a daily call is so great that Emanuel will sometimes call him and shout impatiently, “I can’t talk right now!” and then hang up.
