McCain has risen to the bait: he says he may well raise Ayers in the debate tomorrow night.
As long as he has his story straight, this is good news for Obama. These kinds of attacks work best when they're slightly under the radar. In the bright light of a debate it's the kind of thing Obama can swat away, whilst accusing McCain of doing anything he can not to talk about the economic crisis.
