The Tory leader David Cameron showed a bit of dash and daring at the weekend by traveling to Tbilisi to meet the Georgian Prime Minister. He's taking advantage of Brown and Miliband's awkward silence (they're both on holiday - and unsure, perhaps, about exactly how to respond to a situation that isn't as clear cut as American leaders - or The Sun - are portraying it) to make himself look like a dynamic PM-in-waiting. Cameron didn't really need to say anything interesting - it's all about the pics. Perhaps he's been taking lessons from Obama.
