We've all been in situations where we're badmouthing someone we're supposed to be friends with and then they overhear or find out from others and it's a living nightmare, right? Right?
OK, well, trust me it does happen. But when it happens to a nationally famous politician and it's off-mic but on-camera, and millions of people see it...well, that must be much worse.
Jesse Jackson, now America's second most powerful black politician, endorsed Barack Obama last year, overcoming an initial relectance to do so that may just have been connected to a sense that Obama's rise to prominence means less influence for him.
