The White House has just released a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos from the pre-election period, including this one, from election night. It shows the president taking Mitt Romney's concession call.
The timing of this release is funny - it's almost as if the White House are seeking to remind the Republicans, with whom they are currently in fierce negotiations over the debt ceiling, of...something.

and there's clinton again. i wonder when the media's going to accept that this is the closest (non-family) relationships in the last 100 years between a sitting President and one of his predecessors?
