New Jersey's new Republican governor Chris Christie is a rising GOP star, beloved for his fiscal conservatism and straight talk. There's already much talk of a presidential run in 2012 or 2016. This clip of him on Jimmy Fallon's show is the first I've seen him in action. I like him! Sharp, funny, quick and sardonic. Very, uh, Jersey. The best bit is when he's asked whether he thinks Sarah Palin could ever be president...
He did however kill the Hudson River tunnel. With short term thinking like that he could almost be British.

At a time when New Jersey's budget is under severe pressure and people have been laid off, Christie insisted on repealing an income tax surcharge on those with incomes of over $400,000 per year.

Thanks for posting that, I've read a lot about Christie but never seen any clips of him. Doesn't disappoint.
