Excuse me for over-explaining this beaut but you should know, if you don't already, that:
- Joe Biden is famous for using the "literally" as an intensifier, almost every opportunity he gets.
- "Bend the arc of history" is phrase of MLK's that Obama has borrowed several times, including the night of his victory.
Thus do we have a new and wondrous Bidenism from an appearance at a Vegas fundraiser Saturday night:
(Biden) encouraged attendees to get involved in politics to "bend the arc of history -- literally, bend it."
Actually, it was "the arc of the moral universe" that MLK lifted from an American predecessor.
